The pizza is great in my opinion, it's just the wings. I don't know what it is or what had happened, but the wings i ordered were mild and when i came home to eat it, the wings were basically dripping and covered in the sauce. The sauce was covering at least half of the container full of wings. Although i had ordered 20 pieces of wings, I did not expect this much sauce. Overall, I might not order wings from this place again besides the pizza. I still ate the wings but I had to keep rubbing the sauce off which annoyed me.

Had the unfortunate experience of having this pizza for a meal. A co-worker ordered from here, so i was at the mercy of their indiscretion.

Here is the bottom line...If you are even contemplating ordering pizza from here (which I don't know why one would) def consider more favorable options such as: Papa Johns, Costco, Dominos, Pizza Hut or even frozen pizza like Tombstone or Red Baron. Not that I am endorsing any of those brands, but just highlighting the fact that you would be actually getting pizza made to an edible standard and at a complimentary price point.

In the Tri-State area most folks have a strict palate for pizza because like Chicago its kind of what we are know for, especially in NJ/NY.

The sauce at Mikey's is not homemade. Def tastes of Prego or Ragu, but without basil or oregano. Cheese is low quality mozzarella with no parm added. For a solid pizza you need a blend of cheeses. The pepperoni slice I had...I just never have seen pepperoni that shade of red. Same color as beets...

If you are in the Elizabeth area and craving pizza you are better off getting a pie from Santillos or John's Caffe.

I placed an order at 9:59 pm for which the delivery time was between 10:45 and 10:55 pm. At 11:01 it hadn't been delivered so I called to ask about it and the guy said it was on its way so it would be another 10 minutes. At 11:20 I called again and the guy the said it would be another 10 or 15 minutes. At 11:32 it finally arrived and needles to say it was of course, cold as ice. I didn't call the restaurant as there didn't seem to be a point with the lack of response and accountability they took during the first 2 calls I had made.  I definitely won't be recommending or ordering form here again.

I should have taken photos.  If I go here again, I will do so.

One night when we were in town, we were visiting with our son-in-law and he had to go into work late that day.   We had to hang around because the kids would be coming home while he was at work.  Meanwhile, we had to eat.  I recalled when we drove to son-in-law's place that we passed a pizza place.  Then I told my husband I would head over there and bring back a couple of subs.  I ended up going out after dark which wasn't a comfortable thing since we really didn't know our way around.  At one point during my walk, I got turned around and had to call my husband for directions.  Anyway, I finally got there.

The place wasn't too busy when I arrived.  After looking at their menu board and seeing that the only subs they offered were hot ones, I ordered 2 meatball subs plus 2 bottles of orange crush soda.  The menu board had no prices on it which I found strange.  The people who work here are bilingual and the customers who came in after me spoke Spanish.  I found the woman who took my order to be friendly.  She said the subs would be ready in 15 minutes, which turned out to be correct.

When the subs came out, I was surprised at just how huge they were!  I was even more surprised to find that the 2 subs and the 2 sodas only cost $20.24.

My husband and I decided to split one of the subs and put the other in the fridge in case son-in-law and grandsons were hungry when they got back.

The sub was surprisingly good!  The amount of meatballs in it was very generous and they held together well with good flavoring.  The melted mozzarella on top complimented the sub quite nicely.

When they all came home, we split the other sub 4 ways and none of it went to waste.  Even though the kids had had something to eat before they got home, they had no problems having part of the sub.  They, too, thought it was quite good.

I told them all to remember this place and pointed out that it was incredibly cheap considering how much food they would get.  There are tables there should they want to dine in.

Unfortunately this is not the same place it was a couple years ago. It looks like new management and everything has gone down the tiolet.  So went here the other day and got the special two slices and a soda for 3.99 . Sounds great right ? But the pizza was not good. It had a strange after taste. Idk if it was the sauce and crust. The crust I am not sure if it was gluten free or something but it was not good. Had like a soft dough taste. Was not good. The inside looks rum down. It looks like no one takes care of it. The tables and chairs are uncomfortable. There is a strange smell to the place.

This place used to be great! Back in the day. Now I feel like it is trying to turn into a chicken shack . Chicken shack is a place that sales anything and everything.  So it is good they can make a jamaican party, with mott sticks,  and a shake but of it will taste like crap then dont.
